Privacy policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Uni-Cupon lets businesses create single-use coupons, send them to customers, and scan them to redeem. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Business users (owners and staff)
We store your email address and/or mobile phone number to sign you in with a one-time code, plus the business details you enter: name, logo and timezone, and which team you belong to.
For each campaign we store its name, description, terms, expiry date, and its coupons: their codes, status, the optional recipient name you type in, and when each was shared and redeemed.
Every scan is logged: which coupon, the result, which team member scanned it, and when. This protects against coupons being used twice.
Customers who receive a coupon
Customers do not need an account. Opening a coupon link shows the coupon and asks for nothing. A business may type a recipient name for its own records.
Like any website, our hosting providers process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and to limit abusive traffic.
People who sign up for a business’s offers
A business can collect sign-ups, for example on a tablet at an event or through a sign-up link it shares online. If you sign up, we store the name you enter, your email address, your mobile number if you give one, when you signed up, and whether you later unsubscribed.
That business uses these details to send you its coupons by email or text message. The business decides how its list is used and is responsible for it; we store and process the list on its behalf. We do not sell these details or use them for anything else.
Every coupon email has an Unsubscribe link. For text messages, reply STOP to the business. You can also ask the business to remove you from its list, which deletes your details.
Camera and photos
The camera is only used to read QR codes on your device. Camera images are not stored or uploaded.
Photo access is only used when you choose a logo, or when you choose to save a coupon image.
Service providers
Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Resend (sending sign-in emails and coupon emails), Twilio (sending sign-in text messages), Expo (app builds, updates and web hosting) and, if enabled, Sentry (crash reports). They process data only to provide these services.
Keeping and deleting data
Data is kept while your account and campaigns exist. Deleting a campaign deletes its coupons. Removing a person from a list, or deleting an event, deletes their sign-up details. You can delete your account in Settings; this also deletes businesses you are the only owner of.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
